County Meet Sign-Ups

Due to technical difficulties, we are doing sign-ups for the county meets a little differently this year. We've sent an e-mail with an attached a list of everyone's best times, and the bronze, silver, and gold time standards.
If you have not received this e-mail, please e-mail us at lindonswimteam@gmail.com so we can send it to you.

We need each parent (including all parents who have previously e-mailed us) to look at their child's best times and compare them to the time standards we've also attached. The Time Standards have changed since the season started. The standards in the back of the parent packet are no longer valid. There are three different time standards attached in the e-mail: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. If your child's times are slower than the Gold Time Standards, then check the Silver Time Standards. If they're slower than the Silver Time Standards, they go to Bronze. Any child who meets the county qualifications, who has a time that isn't silver or gold, goes to the bronze meet. All 6 and Unders go to the Bronze Meet. All 15-18 year old's go to the Gold Meet.

Submit an entry by e-mailing us with your Child's Name, Age, Gender, what Meet they're going to, and the Event Numbers that they would like to swim. You can find a list of event numbers in the back of your parent packet.

Please submit a county meet entry by e-mailing us with "County Meet Entry" as the title. If you e-mail us by hitting the reply button, make sure it is to this e-mail, not to any other team e-mails that have been previously sent, or it may get lost.

If you do not e-mail us your child's county meet entries, your child will NOT BE SIGNED UP for a county meet. The due date for County Entries is 11:00am on Monday, July 23. There are NO LATE ENTRIES. This is different than a dual meet. There will be no exceptions. If you miss the deadline, there is nothing we can do.

In order to compete at a County Meet (Bronze, Silver, or Gold), your child must have 1 legal time per event that they would like to swim and also have swam at  2 meets. You may only swim down one event. So if you have 2 silver times and a bronze time, you can either swim all 3 events at silver or 1 bronze time and 1 silver time at the bronze meet. If you have 2 gold times and a silver time, you can either swim all 3 events at gold or 1 silver time and 1 gold time at the silver meet.  If your child makes a B time in an event, they cannot swim in that event at the bronze meet.

*Please note that the different County Meets are not so swim team members can just go to which ever Meet is most convenient.
